Great fun after some pitchers of frozen margarita's on Sunday Funday!

Token bathroom shot... check!

REMEMBER WHO YOU WANTED TO BE.

COLUMBUS...
Community Fest 09, where it's legal to be topless in public, where people glue babies heads and random objects to perfectly good cars and where there are more hippies drinking and dancing in the one park at the one time than I've ever seen before.
Heaven.

O... HI.... O!

We had our event in Cleveland, OH last night...

We spent the day on West 25th St and biked around the city to the Westend Markets which have really yummy fruit and veges lining the walk.

Z-Trip and MSTRKRFT played at the House of Blues... We were back on the bus by 3.30am after the show finished and made our way to Columbus.

Just getting off bus now to head over to Comm Fest...

You Know It's Thriller, Thriller Night,You're Fighting For Your Life Inside A Killer, Thriller

Oh so sad..
We are just about to do a show for B-Live in Louisville and just heard the news that the King of Pop has passed away from a cardiac arrest, I believe.
This is such shocking news. I remember seeing him with my brother, Sam, in Sydney, on his History World tour. A time I believe he was at his peak, although Bad and Smooth Criminal days really beat it too. No pun intended.
We have just found out that Farrah Fawcett also passed today.. As well as Ed McMahon, Johhny Carsons sidekick.
The Universe works in strange ways. I was just saying that celebrites seem to die in three's. Remember Princess Diana, Gianni Versace and Mother Theresa?
So bizarre.
Speechless.

EVERYONE IS IN HIGH SPIRITS IN LOUISVILLE....

It's our last day in Louisville Kentucky.. Famous for being the home of Kentucky Fried Chicken, Bourbon, Mint Juleps, the Derby, birthplace of Muhammed Ali and Johnny Depp and to 'The Shakers'.

The Shakers were this religious sect that didn't believe in sex. They got new members families joining, or more commonly, people who had kids out-of-wedlock would drop the babies off at the village to be raised by the Shakers.

When kids become 18, they decide whether to stay and keep living the Shaker life (no sex ever) or leave!

On a lighter note, Kentucky is also the birthplace for the song 'Happy Birthday'... 2 Kentucky sisters by the name of Hill came up with it.

We went to a great crew dinner the other night followed by some drinks at a bar called the Nachbar in Germantown... sweet dive bar. Only problem being we bought jerky thinking it was beef only to find out we ate BAMBI :-(

SHOW TONIGHT @ FOURTH ST LIVE...

THOUGHT #2

Is it vain to look in the reflection when I walk past a store window?
I've noticed others do the same...

OBAMARAMA.....

D.C WASHINGTON- While the famous people you associate in DC may be politicians, it's also the hometown of famous musicians like Duke Ellington, John Phillips Sousa, Roberta Flack and Chuck Brown....

Strumming my pain with his fingers,
Singing my life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song,
Killing me softly with his song,
Telling my whole life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song

Our last show of the week

L.O.V.E is all around.

These girls are from Stockholm, Sweden.
The lead singer, Linnea, is absolutely adorable and they all have amazing style.
The group writes and performs all their own material and you can tell their organ infused, Northern-Soul influenced indie sound is going to be a huge hit!
Fittingly so, since this song "The Hitten" translates to 'The Hit' from Swedish.
Good to see some beautiful and extremely talented chicks getting out there and doing their thing.
Loves it.
xx

FADER TV, Episode 11. Boston featuring, the AMAZING A-TRAK!

Got alotta love and respect for this guy.

I WANT TO BE ON THIS SHOW.. paging Alan Ball!

Anna Paquin is one of my favourite actresses. You would never know she was a Kiwi, her southern accent in this show is almost flawless. And Ryan, who plays her brother, is an Aussie too. He went to our high school actually. Reminds me that it's possible for anyone to succeed in anything they want to dedicate themselves to. Dream, believe, create, succeed. Anything is possible.

“I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're going and hook up with them later.”

MY LIFE IN A HOTEL....

It's so strange to think how accustomed I have become to living in hotels and my last name isn't HILTON...

PHILLY CREAM CHEESE, HOW DO YOU EAT YOURS?

Drop The Lime, A-Trak and Major Laser, ft Diplo and Switch...
And the bus rolls on to DC.

I am someone who dreams about flowers, who finds love angelic and who wonders about everything. I am a person who feels that the most romantic of life's moments can be found in the ordinary. I am interested in creating works of art as poetic as a classic song yet make you want to dance.

I hope they make you wonder...

WOULD YA 'AVE A LOOK AT HIM...

Too cute for words.

LIONS and TIGERS and BEARS, OH MY!

Kansas City,
where I celebrated my 25th b'day along with two other people on the crew, also Gemini babies.
We hit up a quality place called 'Gerts Grill' in Overland Park, then headed into KC Live. It's the only place people really go out in KC, an outside venue with a capacity of 8000.
Pretty sweet, until about 2am, when it resembles Kings Cross on steroids on any given weekend.

Some shots of the night, before things got silly. ;)
