I FINALLY HAVE A HOME!

It's been a month since I moved out of my place in Silverlake and since then, I have been staying with my beautiful and amazingly generous friend, Natalia. God bless her!
But, I'm proud to say, I finally now have my own place-right down the hall from her!
I've never lived alone but since there are 4 of my girlfriends in the same block it's really more of a dorm than a one bedroom.
I'm now in the heart of Hollywood, in all its glory. I can see Capitol Records from my front door step and I'm really enjoying exploring my new neighbourhood.
On Sundays you can walk down the road to the Farmers Markets and buy fresh produce from locals and the girls and I have been making dinner parties in our block a twice weekly affair, at least!
The apartment was built in 1923 and is one of the oldest in L.A. It was home to author, Nathanael West while he wrote his screenplays and his most famous novel, The Day of the Locust.
Now my focus is on finding a J.O.B! I have an agent though and have been auditioning pretty regularly.
I also still write for the online Aussie magazine, Kluster. If you haven't checked it out, you must do it NOW!

I've mostly been covering all the artistically talented and creative people I have become friends with in LA and am now working on my tickets for the Grizzly Bear show!
The weather here is getting cooler quickly, which has been a nice change to sweating it out at 100F every day! And Halloween is right around the corner. Can't wait to get my freak on here.. Americans sure know how to celebrate (milk) a holiday!
L.A loving.
